Who We Are

Mission Midstream LLC is a full service midstream energy company specializing in natural gas gathering, processing, and transportation services. The company was formed in 2023 by former members of the Midcoast Energy management team and is actively pursuing the acquisition and development of midstream assets in the Lower 48. MIKE MORAN

Chief Executive Officer

Mike Moran serves as Chief Executive Officer of Mission Midstream. From 2018 to 2023, he served as President and Chief Commercial Officer of Midcoast Energy and led the company’s commercial, accounting, finance, and corporate development activities. Prior to Midcoast, Mr. Moran worked with PennTex Midstream Partners, Energy Transfer Interstate Pipelines & LNG, and Southern Union. Mike received a B.S. and an M.B.A. from Texas A&M University.

KYLE MITCHAN

EVP & Chief Financial Officer

Kyle Mitchan serves as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of Mission Midstream. From 2018 to 2023, he served as Senior Vice President of Midcoast Energy and led the company’s finance, corporate development and merger and acquisition activities. Prior to Midcoast, Mr. Mitchan served as a Vice President in the Natural Resources Group at Barclays, where he completed over $100 billion in merger and acquisition and financing transactions in the midstream and upstream sectors. Kyle received a B.B.A. in Finance from Texas A&M University and an M.B.A. from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

CHAD DICKSON

EVP, Commercial

Chad Dickson serves as Executive Vice President, Commercial of Mission Midstream. From 2018 to 2023, he served as Vice President, Commercial of Midcoast Energy and managed the company’s commercial activities across the Anadarko and North Texas regions. Prior to Midcoast, Mr. Dickson has over 20 years of experience in the midstream energy industry including prior management roles in corporate finance, business development and asset management at Enbridge. Chad received a B.A. from The University of Texas at Austin and an M.B.A. from the University of Houston.

NEIL BABARIA

VP, Finance & Corporate Development

Neil Babaria serves as Vice President, Finance & Corporate Development of Mission Midstream. From 2019 to 2023, he served as Director, Finance & Corporate Development of Midcoast Energy and was involved with the company’s finance, corporate development and merger and acquisition activities. Prior to Midcoast, Mr. Babaria held roles with Kingfisher Midstream, Riverstone Holdings, and Simmons & Company. Neil received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a B.B.A. in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin.
